Ahhhh...back again

Ahhhh...back again!

Ya know, it's awesome to be able to get away for a few days for some fun in the sun, however, the coming back home sucks...lol! Well, it's good to get back home, it's all the shit you have to do when you get back that sucks! Empty and clean a motorhome, wash a boat, MAJOR laundry....all the clean up....grrrr! Well, I will say that we had a great time! Weather was nice...a tad on the windy side...but warm and sunny. Boat ran good, motorhome ran good (except for an incident on the way home!). Drank lots, slept little....lol!! All in All....FUN!

I got the SHIT scared out of me on the way home though...we had a FRONT tire blow out on us! Big assed heavy motorhome, towing a boat...and of ALL tires, it had to be a front one! We did get lucky though, we were going up a bit of a hill, so once we let off the gas, the hill slowed us down (since you can't really slam on the breaks!) and we didn't lose too much of the steering. I have NEVER heard such a loud noise before, just a huge KABOOM right under my feet! Got lucky too, that it only tore up the inside of the wheel well and didn't come thru to the inside where my feet were. We were down to just riding on the rim, the entire tread blew off. Fucking F I R E S T O N E!! (Yes, these *might* have been the tires that have been recalled due to the accidents and deaths in the past!!). We never recieved any notices, but I don't think we would have since we were not the original owner. We're going to research it a bit to see if these are the same ones that were splitting.

Okay, I need a shower before I move along to my next load of laundry. Just wanted to check in ;)
