CellPhone drama....

Is it too much to ask that a cell phone works? I picked up the Samsung X427 cuz I'm a geek! (So hubby says...lol). I like all the bells and whistles on my gizmos. This phone is kewl...polyphonic ring tones, voice tones, nice color display, flip phone, small and compact etc...however, it's doing some wacky shit...and it's doing it ONLY to me. Whenever I take it in, or call 611, I get the "Wow, I've never heard of this phone doing that" "Wow, my wife has that phone and it's the BEST" "I have the same phone and it works GREAT for me". I've had it warrantied twice so far and the third time they thought maybe it was the SIM card, so they replaced that. Found out this morning, that didn't do the trick to fix it either. What it does is, someone would call me, and my ONLY option is to REJECT the call. There is absolutely NO WAY to answer it. The green answer button-Nope. "Press any key to answer" option-Nope. Clicking the "Accept" button from the screen-Nope (cuz there is NO accept option, only reject). Strange though how it happens to the new phone they give me in place of the one that I'm returning! I'm tired of driving to the Cell store every 2 weeks for another Samsung X427.

Of course I'm passed the 15 day return policy. I'm also not quite half way into my contract for them to let me upgrade to a Motorola so I can ditch this POS. (Actually, it's a cool phone if it didn't have the above BUG). Yea, Cingular said that I can go out and purchase a new phone, and that they would give me a $75.00 credit on my phone bill. But $75.00 doesn't really make much of a dent in a $299 cell phone. Hubby did make me an offer last weekend! He said if I dress like "his nasty bitch" (short skirt, no panties, no bra, sexy shirt and heels), he'd get me a new phone. Why oh WHY didn't I jump on that offer...lol! I wonder if that offer still stands???

Maybe if I wasn't such a "geek" I wouldn't have these problems! Anyone have any reviews on the Motorola V400??? (personal reviews, I think I read all the internet reviews...lol!)
