Begin Rant....

Car Tags In California:

Okay...this is rediculous (sp?)!! They just went up 300% beginning October 1st! My friend just got her tags for a Toy Hauler which is due in November and YUP...it's tripled! What a joke!

If we don't get a governer into office who will bring those fees back to normal...for 2004 I'm going to be paying around $2500.00 JUST FOR TAGS!!!

I'm curious to know, what do you all pay (just a rough figure, no need to be exact) for car tags (registration) in your state?? I know it's based on purchase price, but this is what I'm looking at for 2004:

2003 Truck: $750
1997 Motorhome: $840
2003 SUV: $900-$1000

That is FUCKING OBSURD!!!!!

I just found out, that in Florida they pay UNDER $100 per year for car tags! That's even on a NEW 2003 TRUCK!!! If Florida didn't have huricanes and all those thunder and lightning storms...I'd MOVE THERE! (I'm a big chicken when it comes to storms...lol!!)
