Fuck It...

This is what I'm thinking in my mind right now. Globill (my site payment processor) just went BELLY UP on Friday. Any monies they owe me are pretty much toast, since I probably won't see a dime of it anytime soon. Those folks who are on a recuriing membership, will soon find that they can no longer access
my site when their time is up. Those on the 3 month plan will have the same happen. I do have Hughes Billing up for right now, however...I'm sure it's
only a matter of time when they close their doors also. It all has to do with Visa and Mastercard rules. I HONESTLY do NOT want to pay $750/year to keep my site open to accept memberships by Visa. Mastercard will soon follow suit to the tune of $1000/year (so rumor has it). That's $1750.00/year just to be
able to have a members area! Paypal no longer accepts payments if it has to do with "Adult" stuff. Honestly....not worth it for me. So, I'm honestly thinking....that when my domain name expires in November...just to let it expire. No more Misty's Porn Palace. I don't want to go AVS either. I just don't
like that route one bit. (Not saying it's bad for everybody...but it is for me).

My next "Fuck It" thought is this Acacia Lawsuit! This company "Acacia" buys expired patents, then goes after people that didn't purchase a license to use that patent product. Well, they purchased the patent for "streaming media". ALL sites using AVI's, MPG's, etc...NEEDS to purchase a license from them to
be able to have movies on their sites! ANY form of streaming media is a NO NO! They are now going after all the "small" websites, thinking that these
small sites won't/don't have the money to fight back. They are starting their "mission" first on the adult community! It's only a matter of time! Apparently,
MANY of these "smaller sites" already recieved their "Fed Ex" package saying pay up or deal with us. Do I need this bullshit?? FUCK NO! As it is now, I still
have my videoclips up...which apparently I shouldn't...Do I pull them all now? Do I change my site and say I have NO videoclips, but yet have them in the
members area? Would YOU join a site that had no videoclips? If you see on the tour that you ONLY have pictures, would you join still?

Maybe I'll just stick with Ifriends and cam sites. Work on my FanClub there...and just let the "BigBoys" deal with this Acacia bullshit and Payment Processors! I can do members only shows thru my fanclub, upload pics and everything there without having to deal with all of this.

End of my "FuckIt" thoughts...you can relax now...lol!
