This is too funny....

So the family decides they want take out burgers instead of Chicken Terriyaki (that's NOT the funny part silly...hahahaha)...so naturally, I agree. They all agree upon Wendy's, I say fine with me. Picture me in some fuzzy sweats with a fuzzy jacket and tennis shoes (the only thing missing were my fuzzy slippers...which I probably WOULD have worn too...hahahaha). As I'm about to enter Wendy's, a nice looking gentleman holds the door open for me while I enter. I say my thanks etc and we both procede to an empty cashier. He places his order (1 number 2 with water) and I procede with my order: 1 number 2 with a Dr. Pepper, 6 - 99 cent double cheese burgers and 1 chocolate shake. (Yea, I've got some big eaters here...lol). So, we both step to the side to wait for our food. I can feel that he's staring at me, so I get that stupid "oh shit" look on my face. (Not sure what an "oh shit" look is, but that's how I felt the look to be..lol). He then says "Wow, you're cute....do you live around here?". I answer yes, how about you...and he tells me he's in the next city over, but he works right around the corner from Wendy's. Yadda yadda...more small talk and then he says "Would you like to have your dinner with me or did you order "to go"? Hahahahaha...THAT'S the funny part! He heard what I ordered...did he really think I was going to eat 6 doubles, a #2, a Dr. Pepper and a chocolate shake??? I think my "oh shit" look just turned into a "you've got to be kidding me" look....then told him I have a family at home waiting for dinner. His reply...."Well then, you'd better go" hahahahaha!! No shit Sherlock...they couldn't make my food any faster at that point!

I guess it's one of those "you gotta be there" stories....but I honestly did find myself laughing on the way home. I honestly don't consider myself as "pick up" material...so I still get surprised when stuff like that happens to me. I think it's time to get my wedding ring fixed and wear it again..ya think? hehehehe
