The Wedding Reception

The following journal entry is geared mainly towards Members of my website due to the content of these pics...hehehe! If you'd like to join to see them...just click HERE

WOW! Where to begin! I guess I could start with a pic of how we looked while attending this wedding/reception huh? If you'd like to see, just click here. I knew this was going to be a fancy event due to A) Invite said "Black Tie" and B) Reception was at a hotel in Beverly Hills! Apparently, the father of the bride is this Multi Millionair, who gave the bride and groom $1 Mil for a wedding present!!! The dinner at this hotel costed $250.00 per person, and there were about 350 guests! I'm sure you can do the math...lol!!! Upon entering the reception, we waited around in this foyeur, where men in white suits passed around wine, shrimp and these lobster thingy's...yummm! The bar was open....all you needed to was walk up and request your drink! Right in front of me, the lady ordered a Mai Tai....which looked VERY refreshing....so I ordered one also. Drank that one down and was ready for my second. After finishing the second one....we walked around outside a bit (with camera of course)....so I took this shot...hehehehe!! Still waiting to be seated for dinner...I naturally went for my third Mai Tai :) The reception was absolutely beautiful!! It was in the Crystal Ballroom. I now see why movie stars are so thin! It's ALL in the presentation of the food...and NOT the quantity of the food...lol! We had a 2x2 piece of steak, a 1x2 piece of potato's, 2 teeny tiny carrots-strategically placed across 2 pieces of asparagus...but it looked so beautiful on the plate! The wine was flowing, so I don't know how many glasses I had, because they kept refilling it and it never got empty! So, here we are...food done....drinks drank....we are in a bit of a horny state! I kept looking at hubby, and both of our eyes looked down at the camera sitting on the table. He had an idea....."Grab the camera, let's go for a walk"! Hmmmmm....I'm game ;) So off we went.

We walked outside the front of the hotel for a bit. I sat on these chairs while hubby was getting the camera ready. Much to his shock...I struck a pose he wasn't really expecting...hahahaha! It's right here, and here AND right here hehehehe!! After that, we headed straight towards the elevators (because main floor was a bit "crowded"). Unfortunately...this hotel only had 3 floors, however....I'm going to send them an email to SLOW their elevators down...hahahaha!!! We had to be quick, cuz within a blink of an eye....we were already at the third floor! We were able to get this pic and this one on our way up though ;) While on the third floor, we took this one right outside of the elevators. This one was taken right outside of Room 359! There were lights on inside the room...so I tried to stay away from their "peep hole"...lol! This one was taken outside the elevators also. They had these tables and mirrors throughout their hallways, so I got this one too hehehehe ;) Okay, so this one is stupid....but I thought it would be funny to take a pic of myself in the mirror! Oh well...lol! We took this one on the steps....just before some people were coming UP the steps! We headed back into the elevators...this is where it got funny! We took this pic and this one , however...the elevator stopped at the second floor and in walks these 2 couples! Apparently, according to hubby, my dress was still UP when the doors opened up for them! This guy just said "Hey there Folks"....and I immediately started busting up laughing! Trying to hold it in though of course! This time, the elevator couldn't get to the first floor fast enough!

Heading back to the reception, ran into some people we know...who bought us yet another Mai Tai! After leaving the reception...we took the "long way" back and cruised down Hollywood Blvd. What a cool place to drive thru on a Saturday night!

So, that's my adventure.....I hope to do something like that again soon! It was FUN!!! The whole entire ride home, all hubby could say was "Man! That was SOOOOOO much fun!!!"

Members...I have all the pics HERE, so you can see them all in one shot :)

ENJOY!
